Real estate investment funds (FII) are collective investment undertakings that invest the capital raised from investors mainly in real estate. They may adopt the form of open or closed funds. The FIIs available are geared to the development of real estate development and urban renewal projects. The LYNX offer is composed, essentially, by Closed Subscription Funds in which the patrimony is owned only by the initial subscribers. The entry of new investors is only possible through the sale of participation units in the secondary market or through a capital increase, if authorized by the other participants. The FII and the activity of LYNX as a management company are governed by the General Regime of Collective Investment Organizations.
